YOU'RE INVITED: Free Expert Dementia Care Training Online

Written by E4 People | 3/12/26 5:14 AM

Supporting people living with dementia takes more than compassion – it requires practical skills, evidence-based strategies, and the confidence to respond well in real-life situations.

At E4 People, we’re committed to helping aged care professionals deliver dignified, person-centred care every day. That’s why we’ve partnered with HammondCare’s The Dementia Centre to offer a series of free online dementia training workshops – open to everyone in the aged care sector, not just E4 People staff.

These live sessions are one-off events and will not be recorded, so the best way to benefit is to join us live and take part in the discussion.

Why these dementia workshops matter

Dementia care can be complex. Team members are often managing:

  • Changed behaviours and communication challenges
  • Sensitive conversations with residents and families
  • Balancing dignity, safety, independence and risk
  • Environmental and routine barriers that impact wellbeing

These workshops are designed to give you practical, real-world strategies you can use straight away in residential aged care, home care, or community settings. You’ll be learning directly from The Dementia Centre’s experts, with the opportunity to reflect, ask questions and build confidence in your approach to care.

Who are the workshops for?

These sessions are ideal for anyone working with or supporting people living with dementia, including:

  • Aged care nurses (RN, EN)
  • Care workers and AINs/PCAs
  • Lifestyle and activities staff
  • Clinical leaders and care managers
  • Facility managers and team leaders
  • Allied health professionals and support staff

You do not need to work with E4 People to attend – the workshops are free and open to the whole sector.
